We regret to inform you that due to
shortages of the chemicals used to make SurfaceMax the chemical companies are
requiring VERY large purchase prders for the ingredients; all pre-paid and with
no guaranteed delivery date.
We are working to find some way to resolve this problem.
If someone was interested in becoming an investor in this venture we would be
glad to speak with you; it would not be a small investment. What we need is the
capital to start an "eastern" plant closer to all the new asphalt emulsion users
(our product is made in California) and to put up the capital for very expensive
materials shipments to hold the product "ready to ship" for contractors.
Our current problem is contractors
cannot afford large orders months in advance "hoping" they will sell jobs and
use the entire amount plus they can seldom tie up $30,000+ in modifier to have
"on hand". Our current manufacturing facility has no warehousing space to hold
the product "ready to ship" and even so; freight from CA is very high for users
in the eastern USA.
So currently we are between a rock & a hard place so to
speak. We cannot guarantee material availability or even provide a schedule for
a contractor wanting say 1-3 pallets. We would just be able to deliver that
whenever one of the large California customers had a 3,000 gal. + order being
made and we have no way to know when that would be.
One order in Southern CA had a lead time of
over 3 months this year due to the slow delivery of one of the primary
ingredients. So a customer in Washington DC ordering in July would have
received that order in early
October, probably too late to do the job
due to weather by the time October rolled around.
The customers in California who have used
this for years can anticipate their demand and place orders far in advance for
amounts above the 3,000 gal. minimum production run requiring pre-payment. But
in the exploding eastern USA market we cannot deliver to contractors on an "as
needed" basis as we were just last year (because we were keeping 2-6 pallets "on
hand" between production runs)--these chemical companies have just become that
unreliable, basically they are selling all they can make so they have no reason
to give us preference on delivery times. So
contractor orders in "job" size quantities would be a matter of luck; we welcome
you to call in case we can fill your order but we can't promise.
We would be most interested in talking to a
company in the business or an investor wanting an excellent expanding future
business opportunity for a product that vastly exceeds any competition or other
products on the market... but currently the profits from California sales do nor
provide the investment to build and "eastern" facility.
We still have a few samples available to southern
areas or as soon as
non-freezing freight can be assured. Remember it is
first come, first served and there are less than 15 left for 2010. You may order NOW if you are in an area
where the product would not freeze in shipping.
WE DESPERATELY NEED: Contractors in the NE part of the
USA and Florida and the southern states. We had to "turn down" a property owner
in Ft. Meyers Florida with 3 shopping centers who wanted to use SurfaceMax
because we could not find a contractor who would provide them a sample... that's
3 jobs someone could have had! Customers coast to coat WANT high-performance
sealcoating now!
When the samples are gone this web site will be converted to market the
product to property owners and managers for our contractors using the
product.
We have already had inquiries from companies totaling more than
5 MILLION sq. ft. of parking and this site is not
geared for property owners or managers, they just want a product that will do
what SurfaceMax does and have found this site...so don't delay. Get your sample
and become the only one in your area to be able to offer what no one else can

For those who have ordered, PLEASE DO NOT
hesitate to call for advice when trying your samples, remember this product
reacts differently with different brands and the designs on the label are
guidelines and might not fit exactly what you want to try.
We have contractors already using the product
on jobs who has had what he calls "unbelievable" results with the
SealMaster asphalt
emulsion he had been/is using and another with STAR asphalt emulsion. The product has reacted normally with the STAR
product, not altering viscosity but providing a much blacker surface and greatly
improved aggregate binding/loading and faster curing to traffic times, all else
is the same with SealMaster but a slight thickening has been noted; not as much
as the old "rubber" additives for cal tar, only slight. They are
using it with both Black Beauty and silica sand depending on the job, both with
great results (and he had never been able to use Black Beauty before)
